Kawaguchiko Lake

On 9th May, we went to Kawaguchiko Lake, near Mt.Fuji. It was really heavenly to see the Fuji so near. The white ice cap on the top looked like a vanilla ice-cream :-D We went to Kachikachi yama. This is a mountain where the event of a Japanese folk story of the Tanuki & the clever rabbit took place.

We had a cruise trip on the Kawaguchiko lake. It was very windy on the deck & I couldn't help my hair flying wildly :-D

After the cruise, we had a ride on the motor boat!! It was terrrrrific!! I enjoyed a lot. It went on a high speed & the whole trip was full of bumps :-D

I wish I could visit this wonderful place once more.

Kurihama Flower Land

On 4th May, we went to Kurihama Flower Land. It was very beautiful to see the whole garden from a distance. We climbed the inclined slope by a monorail.

We went to this big park inside the land. My sister enjoyed a lot there. It was so funny to see this Godzilla statue in front of this huge balloon burger. When seen from a particular angle like the photo below, it seems as if the Godzilla is coming to devour the big burger !! :-D

School Excursion Trip

We had a wonderful time inside the bus, on the way to the museum. We played antakshari & it was the best trip ever. Everyone was enjoying.................I guess so.................................... Except the bus driver...................... He must have had a severe head ache that time because of our shouts!! :-D "Hurray!! We are the jokers of IISJ!!"

Tamil New Year Programme

On 4.4.09, there was a tamil new year programme held in Nishi-kasai with some famous celebrities as special guests. The programme turned out to be very good & enjoyable. I particiapated in the invocation dance with Sindhu, Varsha & Vidya.

Trip To Mahabalipuram

It was a wonderful place.
First we went to a temple built by the pallavan ruler Narasimhavarman. It was very wonderful.Then we went to light house. It was closed so we saw it from outside. Then to mahishasuramardhini cave. The artwork was very good and it conveys what happened in the past. There was an other small temple on the upstairs. While we were climbing down from that temple......

At the evening we went to the sea shore temple. It was very beautiful. We also did some shopping there. There were many decorative things made of shells.
Then we went to mahabalipuram beach. It was a wonderful trip.
